
Lauren brings more than 15 years of experience in leading multi-faceted communications campaigns that include executive visibility, earned media and advocacy. She currently works with a health care professional society to raise awareness of their critical role on patient care teams and to advocate for patients’ access to their services. She spearheads the support of legislation to expand Medicare coverage of obesity treatments. Additionally, she works on national earned media and thought-leadership campaigns for two health systems. Prior, she was at GYMR working with the National Institutes of Health and the Robert Wood Johnson’s nursing grantees. She started her career at Porter Novelli. Lauren was recognized by PRNews as a Top Woman Leader and PR Person of the Year in 2024. She holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
