Led earned media strategy for the HHS COVID-19 Public Education Campaign, a national initiative that launched in August 2020 to increase public confidence in and uptake of COVID-19 vaccines, while reinforcing basic prevention measures such as mask wearing and social distancing.
Executed a three-pronged strategy to achieve Banner Alzheimer’s Institute’s goal of expanding its national profile as a major research entity in the Alzheimer’s field, including: promoted the science behind BAI’s research, engaged key opinion leaders in Alzheimer’s disease, and supported recruitment and retention of participants for its groundbreaking Alzheimer’s prevention clinical trials and innovative online registry for recruiting clinical trial volunteers. Our efforts resulted in several major placements, including The Associated Press, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Fortune and Newsweek. It also resulted in a gripping two-part feature on CBS 60 Minutes highlighting BAI’s unique effort in a Colombian village, where hundreds of people contract Alzheimer’s by age 45.
